TRX2, anybody heard of this?
Hi guys
Are people following TRX2? Seems a bit expensive, but the results look good. What do you guys say?
Cheers

Re: TRX2, anybody heard of this?
That guy was peddling that crap a while back. i believe slowmoe used it for close to a yr, so perhaps he will tell u. if i remember correctly the guy from the company created a shill account to advertise it here, then came clean when he was caught out.
nevertheless heres my opinion.
it has minoxidil, so u know it will probably regrow 'some' hair, however it comes with the typical minox side effects, and u will have to use it for life, which brings me to the next problem.
wat garantee do we have that this company will be around for our whole life. these companies come and go and get shut down by the fda. any benefit from the extra ingrediants, which havent been well demonstrated will be lost when the company goes, so u might as well just use plain old cheap minox, but then again if ur on this forum, u probably dont want to use it. (neither do i)
some of us would have been interested in a minox free version, but it never eventuated, and even if it did, then the same problem exists, how can we be assured a lifetime of the same combination. we cant.

I say just get the ingredients separately if you choose to use it.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16826026
This study may be of interest regarding the l-carnitine l-tartrate. My guess would be it only increases androgen receptors in muscles, and when used prior to exercise. (As how was done in the study.) But I really have no idea. (It's cheap at Vitacost, complete rip-off at iHerb or Swanson's.)
The rest of the ingredients you will find in a multivitamin, except for the BCAAs, but they are negligible. You might as well just eat meals with protein (which I'm assuming you already do) for that amount BCAAs.

Re: TRX2, anybody heard of this?
it does work, but can be improved
make it yourself with
carnitine AND r-lipoic acid. trx2 contains no ALA or r-ala
a high quality b supplement will cover the niacin and biotin, I like swanson activated complex.
any zinc copper complex should be good
and a coq10 supplement of choice
the selenium and iodine could be taken too, but may not be necessary for the final product
