Do you guys ever consider Taking Fin?
Hi,
I am in a serious dilemma here like the rest of you. I need my hair because of my career (acting.) Right now im a NW 2.5 I think. Right around that area anyways and my hair is still really thick. But the receding is getting worse and seems to have sped up within the last 12 months.
Im sitting here thinking about this. If I loose my hair then I will have a much harder time with my acting career. Im considering fin because I dont want to recede any more. But I also read Fin can destroy your hairline.
What do you guys think? Also is it really that dangerous? I mean the sexual side effects are pretty low risk right? Thx

Re: Do you guys ever consider Taking Fin?
my life nearly got completely destroyed from that poison. i had a crash that resulted in me developing severe food sensitivities to everything except meat and vegetables. and only organic. if i cheated it, i got symptoms like numb arm, testicle pain, testicle shrinkage, penis turtling into my body, penis hard with no erection, numb penis, zero libido, watery/no semen, unable to digest foods, panic attacks, increased hair loss, and many others i cant think off the top of my head right now.
i'm still working on improving and it has been one of the longest and hardest roads of my life, but im very slowly recovering. a few people committed suicide from these awful effects. i'm lucky i found this forum and realized how important food could be and didn't make the mistake of eating whatever which unfortunately many people on the propecia forum due, from a lack of understanding and putting a lot of trust in western med which doesnt address other stuff.
goto www.propeciahelp.com and then change your diet.
trust me man.. it is really not worth the risk when you have access to this forum.

It's a real risk of permanent changes to the endocrine system. Which means, for some users, there's no turning back easily.

On finasteride, back when hair forums didn't exist, I developed sides such as: desensitized-numb penis, weak and reduced ejaculate, erectile dysfunction, tennis elbow and floaters -- never again. Took almost three years to fully recover, except for one floater that still annoys me till today.

Been there done that, many of the same problems others mentioned, never doing it again, glad I was lucky to to not be a person who got permanent sides. FWIW I was on it for a few years and my side effect symptoms came on gradually to where I was convinced they weren't hapepning except in my head for a while... now after being off for a long time.... they were definitely real. I just wanted to stay on the Fin since I thought I needed it to keep my hair. My hair currently looks better than it ever did on Fin anyway, even though I did get regrowth form it the first couple years.

Hopefully you wont need any more 'convinving' other than the messages above.
I took the drug as well for a period of about 11 months and have had nasty sides that still havent resolved to this day (entirely) - its two years on and just not worth it.
Losing your hair is awful, granted, but far worse things exist. Some people seem to do fine off propecia but its Russain Roulette and your vitality, health and mental wellbeing should be far more important!

i use it, but not daily.
finasteride can not destroy your hairline.
you could try RU -- it can also have antiandrogenic side effect but its usually agreed to have less side effects.
