The Safe and Effective Implementation of Ortho-iodo-supplementation in Medical Practice
I found this very useful document from a conference on iodine and its benefits and it coroborates IH's insistence on its usage and benefits for most people. It mentions its effect on hair loss too. Not sure if its been posted before.

I personally loved the term "Medical Iodophobia" (the unwarranted fear of prescribing iodine)

edci - That's a great link, very concise and to the point.
The only thing that wasn't mentioned was a theory from that of Dr. Broda Barnes who figured out that 90% of
heart attack patients had low thyroid function. Iodine supplementation fixes a lot of stuff.
