Distilled Water bad for hair?
I saw some posts on the net about Distilled water being bad for hair.
Since the local water here is desalinated I refuse to drink that, so drink bottled distilled water... but I have a feeling it be coincidental to the timing of my hair loss?
What are your thoughts on this?

Distilled water is stripped of all the minerals in the process, as well as coming out more acidic (pH is 5-6). Acidic water is generally less hydrating. I also like to avoid drinking out of plastic bottles.

We shouldnt be so low on minerals that we rely on it from water, and you can raise the ph of water with lemon and other things, avoiding plastics and bpa is probably more important.

Well I've tried a ton of stuff, and since my diet is really clean now and IBS issues have subsided, I'm looking at other potential causes, including my use of Distilled Water for drinking, and washing hair (since I don't trust the local desalinated water)

At the moment I'm just filling a Bragg ACV bottle with tap water. Our municipal water comes from an aquifer under the city and isn't recycled. It tastes a lot better than most tap water I've drank as well. Still, its fluoridated and chlorinated so I'm trying to get a Berkey water filter.

Could be total placebo, but my hair was terrible when drinking/washing with Distilled - as soon I switch to buying bottle Fiji/Evian it goes thick again? So weird....

No I have a machine that makes water from air and I only use bpa free containers/jugs.
I made a thread about it before. Prior to that I just used my R.O. system hooked under kitchen sink.

So I'm wondering if I'm going to have to buy bottled spring water forever...
Distilled/desalinated seem no good.
