Much of the concept is good, that is a hormonal imbalance. The proposed solution being pharmacological of course is utterly wrong.

Correcting thyroid and adrenal function takes care of the same tissue and it can be achieved naturally. Getting right down to it, normalizing prolactin and cortisol levels is the result of balancing the previous two glands.

One good point that has not been mentioned here much is that dealing with hormones, even natural ones can affect thyroid function.
