Viral Infection Anyone
This is a little off topic, but my daughter got a viral infection. She is 10. She has a rash all over her body and she has puffy
eye,s and face. I wasn,t there, but the doctor told us this could last for 4 to 8 weeks. Anyone ever dealt with this.

Re: Viral Infection Anyone
Have they ruled out a food allergy?
This is what it sounds like to me. As a temporary precaution try having her abstain from any dairy products for a while and see what happens.
If it is indeed viral, would try her on 100,000 IU of Vitamin A for a week and see what happens.
Taking 500 mg of vitamin C or more would be a good idea also, this raises glutathione stores up to 50% in the red blood cells.

Re: Viral Infection Anyone
raise lysine levels, and lower arginine. either with food, or just take 1000 mg lysine each day. Just used this on someone for shingles, it worked, when nothing else did.
lysine is an amino acid, that interferes with some viruses ability to proliferate. so it wont kill viruses, but it will stop them replicating further, maybe enough so that ur immune system can get rid of the rest.
U can buy it at any health food shop. and as far as i know is very safe. i mean its in lots of food. I wouldnt take an infinate amount though. maybe 200-500mg for a kid daily.
