CS, I have some very superficial composite fillings, due to my teeth touching themselves, due to bad orthodontics (my god I love dentistery). Even if it's not mercury but resin fillings, should I consider removing them? will it be easy to "repair" my teeth afterwards? would I have any benefits from removing theses 2 fillings, once again they are very thin, it's not because of diet (I scarcely ate refined sugar before) but because of orthondontics Sad. I heard that there's some Bisphenol A in those fillings, thus hormones that mimic estrogen.

High doses Vitamin K2 did wonders for my gum recession, so I just wonder if it would be easy to rebuild the enamel? thanks in advance

I'm also afraid that my dentist will not understand, kinda like "why would you want to remove them, you like when it hurts?!" :p

It's not a very easy question to answer.

First of all, composite fillings could be made up of anything, and there's no telling what they are made out of. Not even the dentists usually know because different materials are used all of the time, unless they keep records.

Another thing is, the mouth is like a battery and if they were removed, they need to be removed in a proper order.

If the removal is not done properly, you could be worse off than before. This is a very heavy subject before considering.

I think I'll just keep them, he told me it was made of raisin, and that maybe one day, we will say that it's baaad like mercury fillings, so he's aware of the dangers of mercury fillings, I think he's a very good dentist overall. I don't think I want to take the risk to remove them, they are very small and I don't think they can do any harm. Thanks anyway CS! Smile

Here is a comparative table of some dental filling materials: http://www.dr-jacques-imbeau.com/PDF/Comparative%20table%20DC.pdf

The website saying that white filling materials can also be toxic: http://www.dr-jacques-imbeau.com/compotox.html

This is interesting...

I am planing to remove my amalgams in the near future. It this means, that I should consider removing them in some order? If yes, how should I figure out the patern?

Also, regarding to removing amalgams...
I am not sure, if it is so necessary for educated dentist. That guy may be a regular dentist, the only thing that matters (it seems to me) is for You to not breathe in the mercury. And this thing should do it...
Code:

But these guys take it much more seriously...

What do You guys think of that?

Do you know, the dentist also has procedures for dealing with amalgams, root canals ,etc?...It's a "biological" dentist?
I'm also in Brussels, looking for a good dentist.
Thanks
