Strange feeling and taste on tongue

Hi,

I've recently had this strange feeling on my tongue. And it kinda tastes like salt. And I can feel it increasing as it happens and then goes away. Could it be bacteria moving on my tongue, secreting something. Because I feeling something increasing, what the heck is it? Should I be worried? I think this actually happened to me before and I forgot. Seemed to happen after taking probiotics for a while.

I was also wondering could this be a detox reaction. Vitamin k2, d3 and magnesium oil are meant to decalcify right. Don't they detox from sodium as well. Could that be the salty taste? I've actually used magnesium quite a lot.

where are you located? do you feel like salivating with some kind of almost metallic taste by any chance?

it actually doesn't taste metallic. Darn it I can't explain it. Its not so much about the taste then it is about the sensation. Something seems to be causing stimuli to my tongue when there isn't anything in my mouth. Maybe it is a little metallic but it taste kind salty. What does metal taste like I never tasted it lol :-)

like when you take a tetanus shot (vaccine) and get that metallic taste in your mouth...

Yeah, I understand what you mean by metallic taste.

That taste seems to have gone now. Just curious why it happens. I remembered I had also taken a digestive enzyme that day. Don't know if this would cause sensations on tongue, though.
