Hey guys,
Buddy of mine is plagued by Psoriasis, any suggestions on how he can deal with it?

nidhogge - Ask him if he still has his gallbladder. If not, then have him take bile salts as this will fix the problem.
Ask him if he gets plenty of sun in the summer and then ask if his psoriasis is diminished then. If the answer is yes, then he'll need to take Fumaric acid.

IH, sure enough, he has no issues in the summer. Fumaric acid it is! Thanks buddy.

This guy says FA is useless, unless you goto the esters which has it's own issues, perhaps worth reading.

lund - Great point, I believe he is right. It would explain how it maybe the particular type of vitamin D that maybe the saving grace. So vitamin D supplements will not work, but going to a tanning bed will that emits plenty of UBV rays.
Detoxifying the liver as it suggested with that site would also help.

Came to think about psoriasis when I read the spam post here.. So I searched the forum and this (old) thread came up. From who can I buy fumaric acid? I cannot seem to find it avaliable from any of the usual sources. Also, how much should one take (my 60 year old mother in this case)? Do you include it in a cream or to you take it oraly? Thank you.
