Kudzu Lobata is the only strain of PM that we've been messing with. It's Ainterol's, Solgar's, and 112degrees'. 13 different strains but this is the only one that's exhibited the positive results. Only reason that I got some negs was due to taking way too much of it.

Nidhogge, Kudzu Lobata is very very different from Mirifica. It has no miroestrol but is more rich in daidzein and puerain, daidzein being the precursor for equol (the holy grail of hair loss as IH calls it).

i was doing my research for lobata and mirifica for some very long time, I tried them both - and came to conclusion that lobata is the right one for me. I take 750mg -1g a day, usually morning-evening a pill. Definitely underestimated supplement in hairloss batlle.

Prague, maybe you are an equol-producer
I take 2 gr daily and 400 mg standardized extract for 40% isoflavone as well as 200 mg kudzu flowers. This is the full spectrum kudzu from planetary herbals. This dosage is recommeded for alcohol cravings. So far it makes me feel great, neck and shoulder tightness gone, good sleep, distinct increase in libido. Too early to say for hair.

Nidhogge, the common genus is called Kudzu and it branches out in several different species (types). There can be great variation between different species even if they belong to the same genus. Lobata and Mirifica are totally different and they also belong to different herbal medicin traditions, since Lobata is Chinese whereas Mirifica only grows in Thailand.

Yea, I knew about the different species within a genus (PM has about 13), but have often seen Lobata and Mirifica used interchangeably. For Prague to get better results with Lobata makes me question the quality of the Mirifica that he used as the only noteworthy strain is in a northern area of Thailand (the one that's been used with success for centuries).

It goes well with HMR. I ditched oral PM.

I think Im going to ditch PM and give the rest of the 3 bottles I have to my friends girl with an A Cup.
Re: Prague -- Your experience with Kudzu Lobata
Why are you guys gonna ditch PM?
Did you give it enough time to evaluate it?
Did you lower your dosage to eliminate side effects?

Usually not half, people are often too quick to drop something just because they hear a couple negative reports. I say switch to 112degrees.com's product, and give that an honest try for a few months. PM is the stuff that's got centuries of proven experience behind it. Not to say that Lobata isn't effective, but we don't have much to indicate that it is more effective.
