My Hair (Progress) Empty My Hair (Progress)

Post  nidhogge Tue Nov 11, 2008 3:16 am

I just wanted to report that lately, I can't believe how incredibly soft and thicker my hair has been. A combination of getting on the Lithium/DMSO rinse (5% Lithium Chloride, 8% DMSO), and upgrading my helmet to 280 diodes from 80, has made a very significant change in as little as a month. I'm sorta shitty with pictures so you're basically just taking my word I guess, but just wanted to report that between the regime, lasering, Mag. Oil/Sea Buckthorn Soap/IH rinse, and keeping a relatively healthy diet--things are going real, real good!

If my current wounding experiment goes well, then I'm not sure how much longer I'll need to worry about hair loss!

Hey nidhogge. I'm interested in getting more info on your laser helmet. How do I go about getting you to build me one? Give a hold of me when you get a chance. Thanks.

That's awesome, Nidhogge!

I've heard about wounding, but still don't completely understand...I'm visualizing this as extreme exfoliation of the scalp without drawing blood or literally wounding it. Are the effects of wounding visible to other people?

Nidhogge-

As far as the lithium/DMSO combo you're using, what does the 5% and 8% translate to as far as mixing? In other words, if I'm mixing in an 8 oz shampoo bottle, how many teaspoons of Lithium do I add and how many teaspoons of DMSO to reach your percentages? I was doing like 2 teaspoons of each before.

Hey John,

I actually purchased a mini 50g capacity digital balance for about 35-40 bucks for measuring purposes! So, I don't use teaspoons--just measure out powder/liquid, then dump it in.

Ganny--

It causes skin flaking, and when you put it on, a mild burning sensation--though nothing uncomfortable. Smile I just did one temple and wear a hat all the time so I'm good, but the flaking is visible. No blood, it just appears as a brushburn when you first do it.
