Any here who during their childhood or teenage years were shorter than their classmates, please post?
I've been reading about IgF-1 levels and what their symptoms are. And I have seen some correlations. As I understand too high or too low is bad. One correlation I made was regards to height. So thats the question in the title?
Question:How many here who during their childhood or teenage years were shorter than their classmates? (i.e. how many with low IgF-1 levels suffer from hair loss)

I'm 18 now and about 5"5/5"6. Not a midget, there are many people smaller than me with great heads of hair, but i'm below average height. However, my mum is 4"10 and my dad is about 5"9, so I was never genetically destined to be a giant.
As I am still young, would you say balancing IgF-1 levels could promote height growth?

I'm no expert, but from what I have read low IgF-1 levels could mean less height. But too much causes problems as well. I remember when I was your age I wasn't too happy about my height. Heard of people using growth hormones. But the idea, of taking hormones seems bad to me. However colostrum apparently increases IgF-1 levels, and as I understand, it also promotes growth hormone in the body in a more natural way.
Come to think of it how many people that you know or have seen, are very tall and have hair loss? Actually bad question because people with very high levels of IgF-1 would also suffer from hair loss. What I meant was probably people who are taller than average don't suffer from hair loss. Has anyone seen people with reasonably good height to have bad hair?

Mike, this is a load of crap. I am far taller than average and have been for years.
Maybe spend time reading the forum, rather than going in with a million questions and a scatter gun approach.

I'd suspect more of a correlation with something like this post than height.
