Ecklonia Cava - Sides effects

Hi everyone !

I've been on IH's regimen for quite a long time now. But with no real change. Anyway, i don't give up and 'm still searching what can stop this F****** hairloss...
The main problem when we start any treatment, and especially IH's ones, is all the different stuff we take at the same time....I did the mistake....When a side occurs, who's the culprit...But we want the best for our health, and we want it now !
The next best thing to do when we already take 10 things and experience sides, is to stop using them one by one, and see what happens....

For now, I decided to start EC along with magnesium orotate (i used oxyde for many months without any problems) and with the Probiotics from Dr ohhiras's....

started on 24 oct, 10 days ago.
first week - loading dose on probiotics ( 5 morn 5 even), then 1 morn 1 even, on empty stomach.
EC : 1 morn - 1 even , before meals.

2 days after day one, pimples on the forehead, itching.....i made a post. everything turned to normal on day 4. probiotics did the work it seems..

But here we go, at day 4-5, i have a mild to strong pain at the left temple (above the ear up the left eye). the pain is strong at moments, but i feel like a light to mild surrounding pain anytime....
Waouh ! never had headaches for my entire life ! So i continued 2/day until today ( 5-6 days like this). Nothing changed.
I noticed that my vein are "bigger" in the temples and it seems more coloured, more visible, more alive....more blood flow in there, it seems !
So, my only change in diet and supps is EC, mag orotate and probiotics. that is simple....
I also experiences burning sensation on the scalp ( like inflammation) for this last days...
So , i decided to go down on EC 1/day and see what happens.
If this continues, i'll stop, and perhaps will make another shot to be sure.

Any feedback and/or explication about this side ? 5 days like this, it's really a pain that cannot stand. and i'm not a molly-coddle...

europe - I almost missed this post.

It possible that during the loading phase of the probiotics you may experienced the Herxheimer reaction or "die-off."
This happens when your body is unable to remove the toxic debris fast as it is trying to get rid of it. Your skin, being the largest eliminative organ will try to push this stuff out.

Let's hope you recover well.

damn brian !!! that sounds possible ! So it could be the probiotics detoxing the body that cause my headaches....intersting....i experience pain in the belly, pimples on the forehead at day 2 to 4 but all went back to normal. then started headaches at day 5.....But a die off that lasts more to day 5 to now...that is pretty strong.....

I really hope the pain isn't due to EC...because it seems promising...

So, i continue with the normal dosage on probiotics : 1 morn 1 evening and see what happens...
EC : i really want to stop until it's clear for my headaches...but....one a day still? any advise ?

europe - Regarding Ecklonia Cava, it would be very surprising if any sides would occur from it, unless of course it was hastening a detoxification reaction.

So feel free to reduce your supplement load until you feel better, and then you can slowly add them again.

According to the "most helpful review" for Fibroboost, in iherb, one must rid of heavy metals before deciding on taking Fibroboost.

Do you guys agree? If so, why should we deal with heavy metals first?

jksl - I think he's referring to these diseases MCS, Fibro, CFS, CFIDS which are often associated with heavy metal toxicity.
Actually they are also associated with an iodine deficiency too.

Okay, i'll get right into it, then, i guess. Was just curious because i used to have some amalgams (taken out last year). i think i'm okay though since i don't really feel the toxicity symptoms. thanks CS.
