Starting with Iodine Empty Starting with Iodine

Post  pancacke Fri Sep 10, 2010 10:56 pm

Hi everybody,
Today I'm starting with some products of the regime-page and Iosol is one of them http://www.iherb.com/Iosol-Formula-II-1-fl-oz-30-ml/4785?at=0
I need your help for making a plan on the consumption as I have no idea how to use it. I'll try to find a doctor but I think he would suggest not using it at all, also I could not explain why I want to use it anyway...
I'm 20years, male, and in good health, meaning I don't know of any illneses allergies or symptoms of thyorid problems. I have some mild form of hairloss on the frontal area and also seborrheic dermatitis from time to time on the same area but that's about it.
Please give me some feedback on how to use iodine in my case, less is more I would think but maybe I'm wrong. For now I will start with one drop per day and see how it goes.

Greets,

pancacke

I took my first iodine drink yesterday and I ahve to say it's not tasty. Even after I drank couple of beers and had dinner I still couldn't get rid of the flavour :/
Does anyone know how to avoid this?

If it was lugols then you might have not diluted it enough with water.

I'm using Iosol, 1 drop with two ounces of water but I will try it with juice the next time. For now I don't take it till I figure out a safe way to use it. Consulting a professional before influencing my endocrine system seems logic to me, I think many people on the board go about this too lightheartedly.
I'm open to your suggestions, especially on how to find the right doc and which tests need to be done.
Greets!

If you consume Iosol with juice it will turn the expensive Iodine content to just Iodide.

In other words, take on an empty stomach away from juices that contain Vitamin C.

Yes, it's always a good idea to get a docs OK but have to keep in mind 99.999% of all docs in the world will call Iodine poison. They never were trained in the area and only info they are told is the false study that was done on mice that's never been duplicated. Also, they don't get up to date on new info. Basically they are agents of the pharmaceutial industry on what they are taught. Best to contact one of the Iodine docs instead.

Yeah I think you are right concerning what ordinary doctors might suggest. They do what they think is right and many of them are aware of the bad influences on our medical system. My dad is a doctor, a gynicologist and he never gave me any medicaments if it wasn't absolutly necessary. He is against alternativ medicine though, proberbly because there is few evidence/the evidence is suppressed, that there are effective alternative treatments. I have a different opinion but I also think that many people in this field just want to make money without offering value.
I heard of the study with the mice, do you know of other official studies that suggest otherwise? Also how do I find an iodine-doc, I live in Austria so I don't think I can't meet one in person!? Thanks for your advice!

Is it cool to take w/ vit c. supplements? I thought the general consensus was to take iodine w/ magnesium, selenium, vit. c.
