IH diet and dental improvement?
I'm reading a book titled "cure tooth decay" by Rami nagel, you can find it on amazon here. The kind of diet the book is for is very similar to the IH diet even the IH supplements fit in nicely into a diet good for teeth .. I am new on the IH diet (3 weeks now) and am thinking I am seeing some dental improvement already, and I've had many many dental issues in the past, throughout my life actually.
Has anyone else seen dental improvements when on the IH regimen and diet?

Re: IH diet and dental improvement?
teacup - Several years ago I began to notice a very large number of studies linking periodontal disease and systemic inflammation.
Looking further, I couldn't not help notice that enzyme expressions of MMP-9 were elevated in gum rotting, and this is the same enzyme responsible in part for hair loss.
Many of the constituents in the regimen favorably reduce these enzyme expressions and promote healthy teeth and gums.
I listened to a broadcast of Rami Nagel and he basically took the research of Weston A. Price and adapted it on himself, his wife and children and found dramatic improvement.

If I stop eating sugary and processed foods, my toothache disappears. As soon as I start eating junk again, the toothache returns. The two couldn't be more related!

According to Rami and his book, or Dr. Price tooth decay is "not" a result of sugars.. it's related to nutritional deficiency and degeneration. He argues against the idea that sugars feed bacteria that infect the teeth and produce acid. his book got good reviews on amazon amazon. The reviews there will give you a good idea about the content/message of the book.

One of the reason I stopped eating most grains is because of my teeth. Every time I ate some form of grain my teeth would starting hurting within a couple of days.

From CS's article cited above :
"Essentially what to look for is a glucose level at 85 or below and a triglyceride level at a 100 or below. If these readings are higher, it means you'll need to reduce your carbohydrate consumption."
CS, you've written this a few times, and I just have one quick question about the glucose level:
When you write "85 or below", are you referring to fasting glucose, or the levels immediately following carbohydrate consumption?
