Looking for a low dose source of iodiDe Empty Looking for a low dose source of iodiDe

Post  crincrin Sat Sep 04, 2010 9:43 am

I tried Lugol's, and it gave me pretty bad side effects. I also tried a potassium iodiDe tablet (32mg iodiDe/tablet, no iodiNe), and I was able to tolerate it but still had side effects.

So I'm looking for a reliable liquid source of iodide that I can dilute as needed. If you guys have any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

ie, I plan to start with a very low dose (a few 100mcg) and build up over the course of months to a year to the standard 50mg.

Look into natural Kombu seaweed, it has very bioavailable iodine mixed with plenty of other great minerals and vitamins.
