Ketoconazole. Empty Ketoconazole.

Post  Decro435 Thu Jun 03, 2010 2:14 am

Has anyone out there found a shampoo that contains Ketoconazole without other harsh ingredients?.

Nizoral tends to be harsh on the hair and scalp and it dries out my hair completely so I can't really use it. My inflammation is quite bad at the moment and I'm looking to curb it with Ketoconazole. Lithium and DMSO isn't an option and neither is Revita or Regene Pure. Basically what I'm looking for is just Ketoconazole on it's own.

Thanks...

Ketoconazole. Empty Foam & Cream

Post  DesperateIntellect Thu Jun 03, 2010 2:44 am

Decro,

There is both a cream and foam form of Keto, the foam I think is produced in Italy and is around 12 euros I couldn't track the link or remember the exact name.

Thanks, I saw those before though, I meant to say I specifically wanted a shampoo.

Actually on that note of the foam and creams, for anyone who hasn't seen it before here's a Japanese study where the cream was used..

Gibson,

Are you sure that shampoo is less harsh?. Have you used it and if you have it could you state the ingredients on the back?.

Also, does anyone know exactly what it is in Nizoral that makes it so harsh?. It's not the Ketoconazole right?.

I used Keto ORAL for three months and my hair was very good, why do not you try to use it ?

I wouldn't go near oral Ketoconazole. I'm very prone to side effects, Oral Keto would have very bad effects for me.

You could end up with serious liver damage.
