Too much Progesterone
Hello,
I'm new in the forum but I see a long time and therefore have much admiration for him.
I have some questions, I have a ltoo much progesterone (0.63, the maximum is 0.56), I took finasteride 1 mg for 4 months, now, I still take at lower doses (0.5 g) because I´m afraid of sudden hair loss.
Does finasteride is associated with these levels of progesterone?
How can I re-balance that?
Last question I would like to buy shampoo anti-SLS, DMSO Liquid 50% or 70% in Europe, know some sites that can sell? The shampoo of cetokozonol is good for control oilon the scalp?
Thanks for the answers

Re: Too much Progesterone
Portugal - Finasteride use can potentially elevate progesterone, because it blocks its conversion to allopregnanolone, which has adverse effects on neurosteroids and it interferes with GABA receptors with respect protecting against anxiety, depression and seizure activity.

Re: Too much Progesterone
thanks for the reply CS.
To be honest i still too afraid to leave the fine, I'm taking in very low doses, but not stopped.
Is there some way to decrease the amount of progesterone without leave completely finasteride?

Re: Too much Progesterone
Portugal - I'm not sure, but wouldn't worry so much about the elevated progesterone. Would worry more about taking finasteride in general. I've suggested in a the past to use pregnenolone, although I haven't received enough feedback to know if it helps.
