Aloe Vera and Hair Loss

Anybody know if it's good ? Which type of Aloe Vera for hair loss ?

I hear it's good and I used it on and off for 6 months but didn't notice anything. I am however going to use it several times a week for a few months and see what happens.

I used aloe vera consistently for more than six months, no result at all.
In my opinion av is overrated to combat hairloss.
(Maybe av could be - used as - a good carrier-substance, for instance in
the bromelain/aloe-mix mentioned by thelibrarian.)

I used the gel on scalp and I had no results, now I drink 1 cup per day of gel it, my doctor said that it has Beta-Sitosterol, in addition to being a great anti-inflammatory

I use it when my scalp itches, must be due to imflammation. Aloe Vera stops the itch immediately.

goten574 i am searhing for some nice gel of aloe vera to help my skin and salp which one you use? and i hope so you buy it from iherb...
you know any nice gel of aloe vera do model hair? thank you

I didn't realize aloe vera contains beta sit -- is it a sufficient dose for hairloss? Has anyone tried it internally for a substantial period?

I use Lily of the Desert 99.7% Aloe Vera Gel Juice. You're suppose to drink this but I use it on my scalp instead. It comes in a 9xxml bottle and you're suppose to refrigerate it after opening it which I do. I apply a little bit of gel on my scalp several times a week, it helps control the itch. I purchased it from eBay UK and then again from a UK retailer Revital. I have purchased supplements from iHerb but wouldn't dream of buying Aloe Vera from there, it would be heavy.

Anyone else used aloe vera topically or internally? please let's hear from you.

I have a fresh plant when there's redness,or itching it always cools and takes care of it right away I don't use it regularly though.
