Treating a Bacterial Stomach Infection.. which supps?
I believe I have a bacterial stomach/gut infection as it came about after travelling in Asia. My GP did a stool test which didn't show any bacteria, but I have a feeling these tests aren't full accurate. Since I can't get antibiotics from my doc, what supps would be good to treat a bacterial infection in the stomach/gut?
I've already tried oil of oregano with no luck. And glutamine as well.

aloe vera
aloe vera works great, did for me anyway. I had h. pylori, causing gastritis, nothing else worked (didn't try antibiotics, didn't want to). There are lots of youtube vids on how to harvest and prepare. I still drink a bit of the gel periodically just to keep everything flowing.

I'm gonna give Wormwood and Garlic a try for 6 weeks and see if that works. Seems to work for parasites and bacteria from what I've read. But the garlic has to be raw.. not sure I can stomach it

I live in an apartment without any way to harvest it. Can I just buy some type of Aloe Vera supplement?

Start with some store-bought garlic bread and slowly add more finely minced garlic to it. If you go slow you might build up a tolerance to it. Don't forget the mints tho lol.

just find a local hispanic market/bodega, they usually sell the leaves. and if they don't have aloe vera, they should have nopal, which should provide a similar benefit.helpmyhair1 wrote:calvicie wrote:aloe vera works great, did for me anyway. Maybe this will help.
Up until a few weeks ago, had terrible gas all the time to the extent that some days could not go out.
Things I tried.
Probiotics -- did nothing
Oregano Oil -- made things worst
Garlic -- big NO NO for me, makes me keel over with stomach pain.
Digestive enzymes -- seems to help a bit.
Yogurt or Kefir -- did nothing.
Gum spirits of turpentine -- works to some extent.
Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) 1gram (half teaspoon) has totally cleared it.
I take it on an empty stomach with full glass of water, if one gets nausea or stomach feels uncomfortable, drink some milk or yogurt with it.
