Aubrey non-sls shampoo ingredients: it has FO-TI / he shou wu in it!

hey guys, final ingredient in the shampoo is he shou wu. I guess using this topically helps eh?

Aqua, coco glucoside (coconut oil/corn), sodium cocoyl hydrolyzed soy† protein, Oryza sativa (rice) starch*, glycerin, xanathan gum, hydrolyzed sweet almond protein, Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) oil*, Panax ginseng (ginseng) extract, Equisetum arvense (horsetail) extract, Urtica dioica (nettle) extract, Tussilago farfara (coltsfoot) extract, panthenol, inositol, Rosemarinus officinalis (rosemary) oil*, Mentha piperita (peppermint) oil*, Citrus grandis (grapefruit) seed extract, alcohol denat., tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) extract, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), Glycine soja (soybean) oil, Daucus carota sativa (carrot) root extract, beta-carotene, biotin, Polygonum multiflorum (he shou wu) extract.

i use this, and its a good shampoo, but dont expect any miracles. it makes my hair feel and look thicker, but i doubt it will affect hair cycles and regrowth etc.

see the thing is IMO its pointless to go one by one through all of these products that r just different combinations of basically the same set of herbs , vitamins and minerals. every day theres a new one on this forum or another forum (yes i know aubreys isnt new)
we look for the combos with the most ingrediants out of the basic same list, of chinese, indian and easten herbs.

more ingrediants in these products arent neccessarily better, cos they r small amounts, and who knows wat is interacting with each other.

seriously, its like looking for a needle in a haystack. just too many combinations available.

just because there r unknown combinations, its unlikely we will come across one that suddenly regrows hair. but if we compile the available research, and test one thing at a time, we will have more luck.

Exactly Anxious. This is why I was real strict when putting together HairGen...every amount in the formulation is the scientific, therapeutic amount for that particular herb to get optimal hair results. With products like this, if they were to give the proven amounts in each formulation, then a) It wouldn't be workable as a shampoo and b) It'd be EXPENSIVE!

That said, AO has some great shampoos, and I definitely recommend them.

Am I the only one to think that Aubrey organics shampoos make hair tangled?
