Borax treatment Empty Borax treatment

Post  JJB9050 Sun Dec 06, 2009 3:09 pm

Hey guys, I was reading some info recently on the internal and external use of borax as a treatment for things such as fungal infections and externally for demodex. The very inexpensive treatment would consist of adding 1/8 - 1/4 tsp of borax to a liter of water and drinking throughout the day, and externally saturating 1% hydrogen peroxide with borax. I suffer from body acne, or at least when my diet is bad, so I'm going to try this and see how it works as I suspect it to be fungual in nature. For those who have itchy scalps and think it may be infection related, this seems like it might be an effective option for next to nothing in price. I got some 20 mule borax at the store in a big box for $5 and I use it to wash clothes and clean with as well.

I take internally on occasion. There might be a synergy effect with Iodine in relation to flouride and candida. Beware of a shed when applying topically IME. Go slow with it topically.

JDP is right, I tried it as well and it's so-so, looks like a great treatment and makes total sense on that site when you read about the dog, but it makes the hair flat and wispy. At least your clothes won't itch and you can kill off anything in the wash with it.
