Research:
Ashwaghanda
Toco-8 or Toco-Sorb
7-hmr Lignan
DIM
Soy Protein(or Whey)
These can lean your midsection, tighten your physique and give you energy to put on muscle without negatively impacting your hair.

I would imagine anything pro-testosterone would be good, like Maca. I personally take 2g of Maca(pills) everyday and if I workout I take them right before my workout and it really does give me a measurable boost of energy. I just started taking Toco-sorb, not for working out but for the reports that it had synergistic effects with Curcumin/Resv and I can't say anything yet, only been a couple days.

This one is easy... If you want to take something that won't mess with your hormones take lots of L-glutamine powder, and whey protein. Also TMG is reported to increase lean mass and decrease fat. For an extra 'pump' take arginine pyroglutimate (spelling?). 5-10 grams of glutamine first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with water and an hour before consuming anything else will cause a huge spike in your growth hormone, which will help put on extra muscle and speed recovery. Not to mention glutamine is great for digestion/gut, and curbs alcohol/sugar cravings. It is the most abundant amino-acid in the body. The extra HGH may help your hair too.

I use this protein afterburn product after I lift. I don't lift as often as I would like.
Does this product contain anything that might effect hairloss? I havent noticed anything

check out Now 100% whey protein isolate at bulknutrition.com. Best price and best whey protein there is IMO. It contains no sugar or artificial sweeteners which is almost impossible to find in my experience. Sweetened with stevia.
