acetyl L-Carnitine and R-lipoic confused on IH6
it says to take them seperately...
Does this mean at different times of the day? or just the two different pills at the same time.
Also CS.... Is it you view that before any hairloss product will work well, all these things must be in balance first?
Im curious to what you've experimented with while being on your regimen (wounding etc)...

Re: acetyl L-Carnitine and R-lipoic confused on IH6
cuebreeze - Acetyl L-Carnitine and alpha lipoic acid (or stabilized R-Lipoic acid) should be taken together--not apart.
It is safe to take Lipoic acid alone, but it's not recommended to take Acetyl L-Carnitine alone. The reason is that through its generation of ATP through the mitochondria, it can increase free radicals. This is not the case if you take it with lipoic acid.
Curcumin and Resveratrol should be taken together. They are synergistic in one or more actions, one of them being inverse agonists of the CB1 receptor.
