Eyes - Red veins and dry eyes
I wanted to keep this subject separate since it's a different issue. Also two separate subjects here as well as I have probably had red veins appearance in my eyes my whole life where as dry eyes is something I have started to experience recently ever since I had conjuctivitis.
Q1- I notice some people have amazing looking eyes, I am referring to the whites of the eyes. Like it is completely white! There isn't a sign of a tinniest vein, and the white is very white. It looks almost artificial in photos, but I've seen people like this in real life and it's real. I've often wondered how that is possible as it looks much better. Could veins in the eyes be due to some form of nutritional deficiency that causes this? Is it genetic? I would love to be able to get rid of that veiny look I have in my eyes. Is it possible?
Q2- Ever since I had gone through my last strong flu(my detox cycle) that caused aches all over the body and it was followed by conjuctivities in the eyes, I am experiencing dry eyes when sleeping. When I wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning, I literally can not open my eyes anymore without rubbing my eyes with my fingers. It is strange as this never happened before. I am curious as to why this is happening now and it feels like it is related to the conjuctivitis I had recently, since it was immediately followed by that. Is there anything that can be done?

Maybe the air is too dry. I wake up with a really dry mouth sometimes. A humidifier seems to help.

Re: Eyes - Red veins and dry eyes
Mike I had a similar situation. My eyes have always had some redness in the past because I wore contacts all the time. I may have done some damage due to over use of contacts. Ever since I quite wearing contacts my eyes became very dry and I even got a few bumps on the white part of my eye that comes and goes with how well I sleep.
Anyhow the thing that basically cured my dry eyes was a solid dose of fish oils. Dont cheap out on the quality. I take a minimum of 2000mg a day and have heard medical dose is 4000mg. Also of course drinking plenty of water.
