Bags/ circles under the eyes

What are the natural remedies for bags/ dark circles under the eyes?

Have you tried putting cucumber slices over your eyes? That seemed to be popular years ago. Not sure how it works though.

Did you get all your hair back?

There's lots of help in this area....wanted to sound an alarm that if anyone is currently using minoxidil, would suggest they stop it immediately if they are interested in their facial appearance.

There are a few causes that a simple internet search will turn up. One cause is loss of fat in the orbital "tear trough" area. In this case darkness is caused by the underlying muscle and blood vessels. This is what I have. No supplement in the world will reverse this, but you can throw everything at improving the health and thickness of the skin so it isn't as translucent. (Retin-a, vit. C, maybe copper peptides- though I don't use them). This will help somewhat over time, but the only permanent solution is fat transfer by a good plastic surgeon. Hyaluronic acid fillers are often used to fill in the hollowness under the eye, but will not fix the darkness from lack of fat. In fact they can make it worse by pushing the muscle up against the skin, or by the tyndall effect. This is one of the most problem areas to treat. Like CS said, stay away from minix and anything bad for skin (smoking, over-exposure, etc.)

Reduce sodium in the diet, if it's too high. I get terrible bags sometimes if I eat high-sodium meals late in the day. I think sleeping with the head elevated helps.

It is very much necessary to get through some home remedies for under eye puffiness that can easily take care of your puffy eyes, thus providing you relief.

This condition usually reflects eating food(s) that are not suitable for the individual (i.e, allergies).

This is often indicative of the raccoon eyes effect.

Would you mind expanding on this a little? I've read several comments/articles that basically say if collagen is depleted then there's no good natural way to replenish it.

For me the issue is mostly the forehead and sides of the face. I had youthful skin but I think it depleted after I lost some weight. I was hoping lots of bone broth, vitamin C etc would slowly restore it.

Forehead lines and alopecia is in part caused by a depletion of RNA, DNA, nucleotides, and nucleosides.

Foods that contain nucleic acids or foods high in RNA can improve collagen on top of the vitamin C.

A fat soluble form is okay...the water soluble form will oxidize in the sun.
