Melatonin Dosage & Use For Ongoing Health (??)

I currently take between 3 and 9 mg extended release... 6hrs...Yes for sleep but more so for health.
Any thoughts on a standard dosage for health? Should it be cycled... For instance 6 weeks on 1 week off or such? Thanks

Cycling melatonin? I doubt it's a good idea.
This review in essence says, optimal dose is undetermined.

What dosage do you take every day if you do... And does it matter if it's extended release or not? Thanks
( I take three 3mg life extension extended release six-hour tablets per night sometimes just two... seems to really help with sleep and circadian rhythm for me ...I'm a night owl) but I'm talking about overall health and not sleep here. What do you take if you do it all?

I take 10 milligrams in lozenge form. Lots of benefits besides sleep.
There is a type I recommend for people who have a serious seed for it. It's in a patch that distributes over 8-hours.
