I used to take Fibroboost, but its impossible to find in Canada. Ortho is too on and off. What other brands of Ecklonia Cava is of similar quality?

Is anyone taking a different brand and having success?

Edit: I found some made by Swanson and its well priced.. is it any good?

There is concern that all ecklonia is harvested close to Japan and therefor may be contaminated.  There is no clean Ecklonia currently available, but I'd be interested if anyone knows of a non-contaminated source.

Do you think other seaweeds are similar to ecklonia? Dulse is a reddish seaweed too.

They are probably similar in the sense that they all are rich sources of minerals.
But I don't think they are similar enough for specific health effects.
Ecklonia is a brown alga.

We at eckloniacava.com do not harvest our raw material no where near Japan. Ecklonia cava algae grows along the coast line of Korea, China and further south along the South China sea. Nothing is harvested until our marine biologists determine that the waters are free from any radiation.
