My situation and new regime Empty My situation and new regime

Post  fritzenburg Thu Jul 23, 2009 10:55 pm

Hi All,
Just thought i'd post my situation with photos and regime to get your comments and also for information for anyone.

Situation: 27 year old male, Father and his four brothers all N7, uncle from Mum's side N7. Diabetes runs through my dad's side.
Previously I have had two stints with Fin, both lasting for about 1 1/2 years with about the same time in between stints. No sides from the Fin really, both times i stopped because I had a girlfriend and just got over the hair thing.

I have had long hair for awhile, recently shaved it and was a bit shocked at the thinness! So now starting a new regime and will update with photos at the 6 month mark and beyond, for mine and others benefit. Im thinning diffusely in a N7 pattern.

Regime: Fin
Niz/T Gel cycle
IH Top 6
Scalp exercises/massage
Cold water rinse once a day (does this really help with inflammation?)
Diet Change: No bread/pasta, cutting out junk food, plenty of fruit and veg. I drink copious amounts of green tea, just cos i like it (5-6 cups a day)
Trying to learn to like red wine vs BEER

Any advice would be welcome, especially on diet specifics...like reducing insulin spikes, at the moment usual dinner is poached organic chicken, steamed broccoli and Avocado.

fritzenburg - Here's some instructions to upload and post a photo. (1) Click on the icon that shows a picture with a disk next to it, when you hover your mouse over it, a message will appear that says "host an image" (2) An "Upload your image" screen will appear. (3) Click on the Browse button and select the area in your computer that the pictures are stored. (4) Then click the Host it button. (5) Three lines of code will appear, choose the 2nd area of code by right-clicking your mouse and selecting "copy" (6) Finally you will paste this copied code to the screen by right-clicking your mouse and selecting "paste."

I'm not sure about the cold water rinse part. Does anyone feel this works for them?

These photos are after 1 month of propecia and Niz.
Starting IH regime in the next week.
This will be an interesting case because I think i have a very bad case of MPB (Norwood seven on both sides of family)
Ok Will post more photos at 6 months.

Cold water makes the scalp alkaline and oxygenated, hot water makes it acidic. But the effects are shortlived.
