Which supplement/ vitamin/ mineral has helped your hair the most
As above if you could pick something that has actually helped you slow shedding and maybe regrow some hair without destroying your libido what would you choose?

Ecklonia Cava will up your libido like none other, while at the same time releasing all the proper growth hormones. MSM will thicken your existing hairs as well as speed up the rate of growth. Niacin seems to help if you can deal with the flush.
I'm not sure which is the "best" supplement, but at the rate I was losing some eight years ago, I should be totally bald by now, however, I have managed to keep about 95% of it. I only use natural supplements. The problem is the results are so slow it's hard to narrow down what works the best.
MSM shows the most immediate results, that's for sure.

Is supplements natural?
How do you transform the vital co-enzymes on to pills, that the actual plant already has?
No offence just a question.

Sage,
We live in a very sick world with contaminates in the air, food, and water. Even invisible things like WIFI and radiation are causing microscopic damage. We are being poisoned. We don't live in tribes of 60 anymore and most people don't have the option of growing their own food. And even the soil is deplete of the proper minerals.
I get your point that supplements aren't the most natural measure to take, but fixing deficiencies in the body by any means necessary can lead to a more positive life. Simply learning about supplements and their intended effects have made me a whole lot more aware of my own heath. And that led to me eating better foods as well.
Blue09,
Don't worry about shedding. Shedding means nothing in the big picture of hair loss. Sometimes you lose what seems like a ton of hair. It grows back.

Yeas we do live in a artificial society, and the same goes with our food intake.
Too many people on a small space, and therefore we have modify our basic needs.
Inhaling pills is not the solution, and we could easily gain our nutrients by vegetables and herbs.
But the meat industry drains it, since there is to much money involved.

I use to think we could just gain our vitamins and minerals via food intake, but I realized after awhile supplementation is needed. Our Soils and food are not ripe with vitamins and minerals as they use to be

I've got to agree that supplementation is often necessary nowadays unless you have a flawless diet, so you're asking the right question!
To get an answer, I'll give you the following pieces of advice, because it's very difficult to sift through all of the disparate and anecdotal posts on forums:
• If you're new to this, I'd recommend reading the basics: www.maxmylooks.com/male-pattern-baldness-causes-myths-and-the-norwood-scale/
• Sites like www.naturalmbpcures.com can help you get an idea of the solutions and science out there.
• If you can afford it, get a blood test for hormones related to hair loss – this may give you a clue of the source problem.
• Do your own research! There are a lot of public research studies waiting to be found and brought to light in this forum. Happy hunting!
