I would start with a full detox of the colon. This starts with using laxatives gradually like vitamin C or senna. Then it takes 10 days of juice fasting with more laxatives like prune juice to clear out the colon. Then there are things like powered activated charcoal and bentonite clay that will absorb toxins when ingested. Along with the high levels of vitamin C, I would recommend looking into oil of oregano as a powerful anti viral and fungal that can be eaten.
Not an easy path, but clean and detoxed is the very basics to health. I have done these things and they are good for general health and the path to better absorption, boosted immunity, and a real vitality upgrade.
