Red Wine and Estrogen Empty Red Wine and Estrogen

Hello, I've read various articles all over the internet, and some claim that red wine acts as an aromatase inhibitor (blocks estrogen), while other articles claim that alcohol is estrogenic.

Whats your opinion on this subject? Also, do you drink any red wine? Would drinking a few glasses every Saturday night affect in a positive or negative way hair?

Ray Peat says darker drinks like Scotch, dark beers and red wine, are more estrogenic.

I got into a wine habit with dinner for a while, because I was tempted by the low priced organic red wine I found at the grocery outlet.
Looks like they ran out, so I am quitting now.  In general I think alcohol is a negative for general health including hair. I will still drink on occasion. One of those things
that is hard to give up completely--for me anyway.
