Prevent minoxidil side-effects

What supplements can one take to prevent side-effects from minoxidi? (bloated face, dark circles under eyes, wrinkles, etc)

I can't imagine anything could stop the rapidly accelerated aging process some men report having. Retinol is used to stop aging of the skin, but this is to stop normal aging of the skin. If you try to use retinol to stop minox sides, you're bringing a knife to a gun fight.

I didn't have a good experience with minoxidil. It didn't age me in the way others report, but it had other, not good effects.

avoid absorption in the bloodstream?
In order of my perceived importance:

1) don't apply any oils
2) don't use DMI / DMSO
3) don't use retin-A to peel your first layers of skin where you apply it
4) lower the amounts applied when you notice it's gone systemic

The amount applied is factored by:

1) the volume applied
2) the % concentration
3) the frequency
