Question about possible scar tissue and hair regrowth.
So whilst doing DT I formed a rather large pimple on my temple. I tried to DT around it but I believe I might've caused too much inflammation around it to where it popped unnaturally. I know if a pimple is popped too prematurely/manually it can cause scar tissue. This happened around 3 weeks ago. I am currently taking a break from DT.
My question is, do the hair follicles underneath that area get damaged? Or is it just the fibrosis from the scar tissue that could prevent them from growing properly? If the latter, would loosening up the scar tissue allow the follicles to function properly again?
Does anyone have experience with this kind of thing?
Thanks in advance peoples.
