Laser Helmet using it too much?
Hi,
I've been using the laser helmet for a while now. Though I feel like my hair loss has decreased an less hair is coming to my hand, I'm not so sure about the thickness. Initially I felt like my hair is thickening. But I got out of the bath the other day, and it feels like my hair look full on top (in terms of follicle) but went I look at the roots and try to see my skull under light, I feel like its thinner. Strangely could it be that the hairs are not falling but the roots are thin? Could using the laser helmet too much causes this? I've been using it everyday for 20 mins?

From what I've read you shouldn't use it everyday; less is more when it comes to laser helmets.

Whoa, you should be using the laser helmet 3 days a week and never back to back.

Something like LLLT excitation of the cell probably has a hormoeitic or U shaped curve in terms of its effect, or it just gives diminishing returns like so many other treatments (minox, fin, etc).
There are reasons for why clinicians and researchers follow the treatment protocols that they do. We aren't doctors or scientists, so we should follow the protocol they establish. They recommend treatment at 3 times per week. This is probably because they suspect it is the optimum effectiveness.
Don't use it every day, man.
