inconclusive lab results for rheumatoid arthritis? CS?
After a first blood test for rheumatoid arthritis which came back positive, the same doctor that ordered that first test ordered me a confirmation test which came back negative. She says the first test must have been a false positive. Now, I saw another doctor for another issue, and he looked into my files and found this and said I shouldn't disregard that first positive result. What do you guys think?
1st test:
Rheumatoid Arthritis Factor
RA Latex Turbid. 37.1 IU/mL --> High (normal range: 0.0-13.9)
2nd test:
CCP Antibodies IgG/IgA
CCP Antibodies IgG/IgA <1 units --> Negative (normal range 0 - 19)
thank you!

Generally I find it is pointless to answer lab questions without medical history, however on this particular issue would consider eliminating all grains from your diet and then re-test. Sometimes the grains can elevate ANA levels.

I am actually already eliminating all grains and eating an high fat diet right now, since I suspect many ailments I'm experiencing might be due to candida or some other fungal infection. Which would make sense since I had several cycles of antibiotics and corticosteroids in my early 20's, that most likely will have caused a dysbiosis.
thanks, CS!
