I keep medium long hair. Its straight but thick and tangley, so much so that it gets hard to get to the scalp when i'm washing my hair, I imagine it also holds alot of filth. Could this accelerate hairloss.

Secondly I wash my hair with a natural shampoo I bought from a health food store, how often should I be washing my hair

I used to use shampoo once a week. But during the week I was regularly washing my hair with just water (no shampoo etc.). Now I use clay water and then ACV rinse (because your hair would be sometimes quite dry). It works even better then the once a week shampoo. So I use the clay also once a week (sometimes twice a week) and during the week I just rinse my hair with water. It works best for me.

Btw. my problem was dandruff, not hair loss and it is completely gone.
