Best way to eliminate THC from system

My friend needs to pass a urine drug test. He stopped smoking marijuana a couple of weeks ago but just failed a $20 drug store test. He's supposed to take his test next week. He wants to buy one of these $80 cleaners but I doubt it will work. Any tips for him?
