Tighten skin to eliminate jowls
Do you know an effective way to tighten skin to get rid of jowls? Are there good exercises? Does aerobic exercise help this? Thanks.

sqroot - Hyaluronic Acid is the answer.
I take two double strength HA capsules from Now brand every day.

you could also try the Tom Hagarty's facial exercises

I do the scalp exercises to promote blood flow to the scalp. He claims to have regrown hair this way, I just do it cause it makes my scalp feel nice and loose.

looks good xyion1.. I think Im gonna start doing them on a regular.
Also Hyaluronic Acid is good for general skin as it reduces wrinkles pretty significantly. The Now brand I think is the one I remember IH recommending. Its also the best value at $13.71 for 60, 100mg caps:

does HA reduce wrinkles for the long-term or is it only good while you're on it?

Re: Tighten skin to eliminate jowls
sdguy,
It works for the long-term.
Here's a good link on hyaluronic acid
http://www.drpasswater.com/nutrition_library/Sardi.html
Also, in the middle of the page on the right side of the page, click on "Recent Video" to play a good video on hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid part starts at 2:15
http://www.longevinexadvantage.com/
a quote
"[hyaluronic acid] should produce similar results as a calorie restricted diet" ... in regards to longevity.
Unfortunately for me, I had to quit taking hyaluronic acid and have been on the search for something else to increase hyluronic acid as it contains significant amounts of free glutamic acid ... I'm sensitive to free glutamic acid/MSG ... I can feel it in my scalp if I take a lot.
Regarding, tightening skin all great information. If still having a problem can order Flex Effect which is basically a more adavanced and better results than Tom Hagerty for the face/neck. And while I haven't tried this one before and I'm sure it's not nearly as effective as hyaluronic acid, you can also try DMAE
Here's a link on DMAE

Great info as always jdp, I ordered the NOW capsules that CS is taking and will be interested to see if I notice a difference in skin texture and joints.

sdguy,
If you take the hyaluronic acid with a bunch of water you may get even better results, IME.
