Calcified hematoma underneath scalp.
Hello everyone,
I have somthing that is called a calcified cephalohematoma, basically it is a calcified hematoma underneath the periosteum.
Wiki: A cephalohaematoma (British English) or cephalohematoma (American English) is a hemorrhage of blood between the skull and the periosteum of a newborn baby secondary to rupture of blood vessels crossing the periosteum. Because the swelling is subperiosteal its boundaries are limited by the individual bones. (in my case the frontal bone)
This hematoma is common in new born babies and very rare in adults. In adults it happens after a surgery done on the scalp or a trauma.
Basically the only treatment I know is a surgery to take the calcified hematoma out. But Im a bit scared of this, so I ask you guys for help.
Is there a treatment (topical?) that can absorb the calicification underneath a pericranium? Ive heard of magnesium oil, is this effective?

It won't hurt to try it.
