Could any of these ingredients in my Aloe/MSM topical be BAD for hair?
I tried to find the most organic pure aloe gel out there. It seems to be aubreys, next to getting an actual plant (which Im considering).
But it seems after getting some initial progress with boar brushing and applying this topical after wards, that my results have lessened or stopped. I might be going through a shedding phase but I was also wondering if any of these ingredients in the Aubrey's aloe could be effecting my hair negatively..
They are:
paraben-free citrus grandis (grapefruit) extract, cyamopsis tetragonoloba (guar) gum*, tocopherol (vitamin E).
Feedback appreciated!

No, don't worry. You're all set.
The guar gum sounds menacing, but its a soluble fiber from the cluster bean. All of the research shows that it is safe, with the biggest negative side effect being excessive gas when taken orally at huge doses of like 20 grams or more. It gets put in formulations like this because it is used as an emulsifier and it effects texture/performance.

Get a plant anyway. They take VERY little tending and grow like crazy! PLus they're cheap. Saves you money in the long term.

Good point ^.
And I'm not sure if its the case where you are, but both of the farmer's markets I go to sell big aloe vera leaves (stalks? not sure of the right term).
Either way, you can get a couple of these and it costs cents. And there's enough gel in them to get you through a week. I was using a lot at one point and two big leaves lasted a week.
