Question about my topical Aloe/MSM mixture. Advice appreciated!
Hey guys.
So Ive been using an MSM/aloe topical for a couple weeks now. I basically put 15 grams MSM into 100 ML aloe gel. (got instructions from an MSM site, cant remember link right now). I like to use it after brushing.
The aloe gel Im using (Lily of the Desert) says to refrigerate after opening but it seems that the MSM crystallizes into little chunks inside the aloe gel after being refrigerated. Im not sure if I might have put too much MSM so the extra that hasnt actually dissolved is crystallizing, but when it was room temperature there didnt seem to be any excess MSM and it was just the aloe gel visible.
In my next batch I will try a little less MSM to see if it was just an over saturation problem, but was wondering if you guys had any advice? Does Aloe gel really need to be refrigerated?
Thanks!

Check if the aloe gel contains a preservative, if it does it shouldn't need refrigerating.
How are your results with this topical ?

It does have potassium sorbate for a mold inhibitor but it still says to specifically "refrigerate after opening"
