CS: about copper sebacate...
CS... I´ve just order Source Naturals Copper Sebacate, for trying to get rid of a white hair patch in my nape, and for other health benefits...
But my question is: isn´t 22 mg too much copper? Should I take it daily? Every other day?
I was wondering why brands like Nutricology or ARG (Allergy Research Group) offer dosages of "only" 4mg
Thanks in advance for your time to reply!
Regards.-

Re: CS: about copper sebacate...
It is 22 mg of copper bound to sebacic acid. It yields 3 mg of copper (is on the label).

Re: CS: about copper sebacate...
CS, I have a question, as well.
I've been using the Nutricology copper sebacate. I had some on hand from a while back.
Is there a big reason I should use Source Naturals rather than Nutricology, or is it just a personal preference of yours? I'll get the Source Naturals if it's truly best but do like Nutricology products in general.
Thanks!

whodathunkit - Not a major difference, but I think Source Naturals in this case is slightly better value. Nutricology is 4 mg elemental, while SN is 3 mg elemental. I realize it says 22 mg, but that includes the sebacate.

Re: CS: about copper sebacate...
Thanks, CS. I wondered about the 4mg dosage with Nutricology...seems like 3mg would be an easier dose to try to balance your daily copper:zinc ratio with. I'm going to give SN a try when I run out of the Nutricology.

Re: CS: about copper sebacate...
By the way, CS, how much l-optizinc would you consume a day? I feel OK on 30mg/day (great libido, morning woods), but maybe double that is recommended? I weight about 95kg...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: CS: about copper sebacate...
Long term, 15 mg is a good, and reliable recommendation. 30 mg is okay, however would consider switching to 15 mg after a year or two.
