One container = Almost 1000 servings! I'm thinking about taking 4000 UI per day so, that's approx. 500 servings for 20 bucks.
I'm not sure how important this is: "Take one (1) drop daily with a fat containing, low fiber meal", what do you guys think?

Misirlou - Vitamin D is fat soluble, and fiber may reduce the potential absorption. Personally I have an extremely low fiber diet with a high fat one, so taking D3 is easy for me with any meal.

Pretty good deal on that stuff.

CS - For "hair approach", in you regimen, you state D3 and K2 , 1000 UI D3...
Well let's say 2000 UI a day .

According to you, what would be the reason to go to that 5000 UI product ? ( One or 2 /day : 5000 - 10.000 UI ) . Please, I would like something more accurate than : When no sun on that day.

europe - First here's how to tell if you're getting real UVB exposure from the sun. If you're outside between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm (approximate times) and your shadows is shorter than you are, you're making vitamin D. If your shadow is taller than you are, then there is no Vitamin D being made.

If your fair-skinned/light skin, about 15 to 20 minutes is enough to make about 20,000 IU of Vitamin D.

The question is, how often does this occur? If it doesn't occur often based on your schedule during the day, then taking 5,000 IU of Vitamin D is a very good idea.

If you're been indoors for a period of months and want to build up your levels in a hurry, you can take 10,000 IU for a while. Actually 10,000 IU is the safe upper limit for healthy people.

If you're getting plenty of sun during those hours mentioned above, it's best to hold off on taking Vitamin D for a while.

Then taking 2 pills of D3/K2 like stated in your regimen wouldn't be enought ?
I understand it's dose dependant, but as soon as we take vit D supp, it's better to take enough when a no sun day ( or no sun period)....and 2000 UI is perhaps low for that, but good for maintenance...
