Re: 1.5 year pics: buzzed hair vs buzzed hair
So I'm assuming the top left and bottom right photos are the after shots?
Nice work Slow, hope it continues for you that's nice progress all right.

Definite noticeable regrowth (since I knew it was top left and bottom right as well.)
Keep it up SlowMoe.

Huge improvement. It also looks like your scalp is less shiny (or tight) on the after pics.
Your regrowth mainly through boar brushing and scalp loosening exercises?

Slowmoe,
Would you say you are achieving results at a faster pace now then when you started? Considering you have a much better understanding of hair loss and have tweaked your regimen to what you think works best (since 1.5 yrs).

Yeah especially now since I use the violet ray, emu oil and head strap for the last 3 months. It feels like I have made a lot of progress in that 3 months

What method are you using and where did you buy your boar bristle brush? I have a boar bristle conair brush, but I feel it might be fake. I am brushing massaging and usuing emu oil mixed with coconut oil

Since feb. 2012 I have been :
-Boar brushing with a mix of a $5.00 sally's beauty brush and a $1.00 flea market brush
-Scalp massages, and mostly stretches (pushing my scalp or bunching my scalp up towards the toop of my head
-No shampoo, rinse hair w/ cold water
For the past 3 months:
-Violet ray
-Emu oil
-Strap that holds my scalp loose for 2 hr. per day
-Regenepure DR shampoo 1x per week

Yeah the one I use mostly is a cheap $1 one from the flea market. As long as it scratches somewhat (don't use the ones with the "balls" on the end of the bristles) your scalp I would say you're ok

Re: 1.5 year pics: buzzed hair vs buzzed hair
slowmoe very nice and very difficult regrowth. Congratulations
can you give a link for emu oil brand and head strap?
The last 3 months success you think that is because you added emu oil and head strap?
Or violet ray also?

Impressive slowmoe, it's nice to see success especially with someone with the same pattern loss as myself.

It's hard to say what helped the most... I'd say they all help equally.
If you want a strap PM me
Here is a link to the oil

Respect
Good for you slow. You persevered with something that many diss missed and you got results. It's been the same for me in terms of results, I'm just not diligent with photos.
Please don't take this the wrong way but it looks like you've had a transplant haha!

Impressive results
Your results are very impressive and inspire me to do more brushing
and violet ray treatments. The new growth is much more obvious than
your previous photos.
