the comb over
Is this done much anymore? Seems easy to do...just let the hair on the side of your head grow and flip it over to cover the bald area. You need something to hold it there though. They say donald trump uses this technique but I'm not sure if the hair is coming from the side or the back of his head. It looks pretty weird sometimes. If you wanna bring back the 60's mod look go for the comb over look lol. At least it doesn't cost anything.

Re: the comb over
Comb-over is usually no good, depending on how bad your hair loss is. In my experience, women definitely seem to prefer just styling (spiking) the forelock up and styling the rest of your hair to compliment that. Your hair needs to be fairly short and neat-trimmed to pull this off. If you can't pull this off, then the buzz or shave can look good and definitely conveys confidence.
These recommendations can certainly be age-dependent but I feel I have very good sense of style and I don't think any balding man, of any age, looks good with a comb-over.
By the way anthonyspencer,
How has the buzz/shave been treating you? Are you growing it back out or starting to settling into the new look?

TrueGround,
Still going with the buzzed look. I was shaving it right to the skin for a while and liked that but I have gone to shaving it clean about once a week now and letting it kind of grow in a bit through the rest of the week. To keep it smooth takes shaving almost every day and that can be a pain in the ass.
But its definitely grown on me. I still have days where I look in the mirror and don't like what I see, but hey don't we all. I've given myself permission to have those days and its a-ok. But for the most part its so much better than what I had going before, and to tell the truth, most of those days where I don't like it has little to do with the hair and more to do with the extra weight I'm carrying in the face, and that kills symmetry.

Re: the comb over
I agree with TrueGround, there are very few men who should be combing anything over.
