Scratching the scalp?

Is it worth it? Does scratching your scalp after a massage get more blood to the scalp? Is it harmful to your scalp?

Circulation in any form can only be helpful, assuming what is in your blood is healthy.

I agree with Mastery. I can see it as being helpful, and at worst, it won't do anything. I don't see it as being harmful at all (as long as you don't scratch way too hard or too much to draw blood).
I actually rub my scalp with my fingers after stimulating it and I believe it helps in circulation as I get a stronger tingly feeling when I finish.

Needling the scalp (.75-1mm) did the most to grow new hairs for me at the hairline. Scratching, poking, massaging would likely have the same, but lessor, effect.
