truffy - Most of the "Top 6" found here http://www.freewebs.com/immortalhair/mycurrentregimen.htm is going to help reduce the negative impact of sugar and other products that reduce to glucose negative impact. The aging hormone, "insulin" is key to keep a lid on.

The foods to avoid the most are pasteurized milk, refined starches, refined grains and refined sugars and excess alcohol consumption.

If you suspect candida, then iodine and a good probiotic is highly recommended.

truffy - If you're looking to support the thyroid, Lugol's solution could be the solution for both Candida and thyroid. Thyro-Max is only basic support.

truffy - If you scroll down towards the bottom of this page you'll find a link on the iodine, plus there is information on Lugol's on this particular page as well.

http://www.freewebs.com/immortalhair/physiology.htm

If you have MPB (Male Pattern Baldness) then Iodine alone is probably not enough. Fortunately, there are huge benefits to taking the other internals if you have to go that way.

I wouldn't buy from blood root products, the place linked there in the physiology page. Took them a month just to SEND the two bottles of lugol's i ordered. And another guy on this forum said it has been three months and they haven't sent them his stuff, or responded to his e-mails.

scottyc33 - Iosol is okay. I have used it before. It's not as potent as Lugols and contains iodine rather than both iodide and iodine.

CS -
I know i've asked before and we concluded that Lugol's is preferable.
But since you suggested that i get on Lugols and i really can t wait a couple of months to get my bottle from blood root products ,can IOSOL work equally good even if doesn't contain iodide?
I mean ,replenish properly my iodine levels, fortify the thyroid and perhaps chelate as well?
How many drops ,again?

edony - Originally it appeared as if Iosol was just kelp extracted iodine, but there is also ammonium iodide in their formula.
They suggest using 1 to 5 drops per day.

Is Black Walnut tincture a good way to kill yeast in lieu of Lugol's?

Isn't it a natural source of iodine?

Thanks.

scottyc33 - Black walnut has been a traditional anti-yeast anti-parasitic herb. Dr. Hulda Clark used it as one of her primary three weapons against it.

But today, there many other options that just work better.

Nidhogge made a comment last night about MMS (Chlorine Dioxide). Or to be accurate, sodium chlorite that once activated with citric acid becomes chlorine dioxide.

I took a monstrous amount of this stuff about four or five days ago. By monstrous I mean about 20 drops, which is considered extremely powerful.

The only reason I did this was to shield myself against someone who was rabidly sick with something. It had an effect and is truly powerful.

As Nidhogge stated, I going to limit my use of this stuff to my scalp, LOL.

scottyc33 - As far as iodine and black walnut, I'm not sure how much iodine it contains. Based on intuition only, it doesn't seem likely, but I could be wrong.
