Accutane natural alternatives? Empty Accutane natural alternatives?

I was using Accutane 10mg / wk. it's hard to find a good source an my doctor is absolutely against me doing this. And I agree it's not too smart.

What are some alternative that reduce sebum reduction. Not marginally but something that really works. I have heard of some but I can't remember what people suggested or have tried on here. I believe that reducing sebum is important in halting further loss and creating an environment for some regrowth

That's why I think hairloss is so hard to tackle. Is that alot of people can halt hairloss but regrowing and reinitiating those pathways are very very difficult. With that bein said I don't even think you can regrowth when there is excessive sebum, inflammation, leaky gut, stress, stealth bacterial infections (not diagnosed)

I second that. Just ensure that it is not the plant based stuff, unless it's retinal palmitate.

Accutane can and does often create irrevocable effects that can last decades. Would never dream of taking it.

Ya my doctor got mad at me... He essentially told me he is already not comfortable prescribing me something off label which he is... That if i continue to take that... My cholesterol counts could be messed up indefinately among other things..

But ya I only did the low dose accutane for a couple months... Nothing bad so far reported... It stopped sebum dead in its tracks

lithium in shampoo, or the zix topical. ACV eliminates sebum too I think it's too powerful for long term. I use a dab only if I have a zit on my scalp, or occasional ACV shampoo rinse. Internal ACV and brewers yeast seem to do wonders for acne though.
