Blow drying - bad scalp irritation

After having been to the hairdresser (who uses blow drying), I have a scalp irritation, kind of a burning sensation.
I feel pissed.
Is it common by you guys to have this sensation ?
If yes what do you put to calm it down your scalp ?
I've put some coconut oil 10 minutes on my scalp. I hope I won't get more irritation. I already struggle to maintain a healthy scalp and now there's this ...
